GE 3Sc-RS is an improvement over its predecessor, the 3SRS, building upon its technology to improve image quality.

Frequency: 1.5 - 4.0 MHz (29% improvement over 3S-RS)
Foot print: 18.4 x 23.7 mm
Acoustic Amplifier: Reflects some energy back that can contribute to the electric signal and increase penetration and resolution.
Better heat dissipation allows using higher transmit power without exceeding maximum surface temperature.
